Missy's latest single confounds expectations, eschewing her eclectic, hyperpop production for a piano-driven ballad.

"It's a song about growing a backbone, standing up to the people who love you, while still loving and accepting them during their bitter periods.

I grew up listening to The Beatles, and while I'll never be able to write like them, this is my homage. I like writing vocal exercises into my choruses sometimes. It makes them a pain to perform, but it forces you to rehearse like a monster! Hope you love the song."
